How Service Teams work
When providers and families work together on a student’s behalf, we plan and problem solve more effectively. That’s the concept behind Service Teams.
Teams meet every week throughout the school year, focusing on their core group of students placed at risk. Typically there is one Service Team for every 100-125 students in a school.
Team members share their particular expertise, and share responsibility for student success. And together, they identify problems, develop and implement solutions and monitor student progress.
In addition, we make insure that the Service Teams have the support they need in terms of process consultation, facilitation, management and policy.
